Growing up in Arkansas, Robert K. Jones always knew that he wanted to help people. As a natural leader, Robert initially left home to serve his country. After joining the army, Robert would eventually be made Infantry Platoon Leader, while also serving as a German interpreter for the army. After seven years of service, Robert received a commission as a Second Lieutenant after graduating from Officer Candidate School in 1983. Unsure of what he wanted to do with his life next, he eventually decided to obtain his real estate license in 1987, and quickly began work as a real estate agent in Arkansas, working for residential builders and developers in the area.
After working the real estate scene for a few years, Robert realized he wanted to pursue a more challenging and rewarding career. After some careful consideration, he decided to enter into law school and was quickly accepted into the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. It was there that he first met his future partner, Andrew Atkins. During his time at law school, Robert was able to finance his education as the owner and property manager of 15 separate units of rental property. While working and studying at the University of Arkansas, Robert learned the value of hard work and time management.
When he graduated with his Juris Doctor in the spring of 1994, those values helped him pass the bar that summer, and eventually paved the way for him to open his own closing services company while he worked as a partner at a local general practice firm.
Mr. Atkins has over 20 years experience as an attorney working to achieve optimal results for hundreds of individuals, small businesses and large corporations in a variety of areas of law. Mr. Atkins received his undergraduate education from Baylor University with a degree in business management. He attended and graduated law school at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Since that time he has practiced law in a wide variety of areas including family law, personal injury, toxic tort, insurance defense litigation, business litigation and contracts.
